ZZ Ward

ZZ Ward released her debut EP, Criminal, in May 8, 2012. Her debut full album, Til the Casket Drops, was released in October 2012. "Put The Gun Down", her first single, broke into the top 10 on the AAA radio chart, staying there for 10 weeks, and also broke into the top 40 on the Billboard Alternative chart. In March 2017, Ward released the single "The Deep" (featuring Joey Purp). Her second studio album, The Storm, was released in June 2017, peaking at number 1 on the Billboard Blues Albums Chart. Equally evocative of blues grit and hip-hop bounce, the Los Angeles-based vocal powerhouse and multiinstrumentalist leapt forward by taking a deeper look at some of her earliest inspirations—including Howlin’ Wolf, Robert Johnson, and Vera Ward Hall and Big Mama Thornton. ZZ has appeared on The Tonight Show with Jay Leno, Late Show with David Letterman, Jimmy Kimmel Live! and Conan. On the festival circuit, she has performed at Bonnaroo, Firefly Music Festival, Coachella and Bumbershoot and many more. ZZ continues to tour and make new fans wherever she goes.
