Cheap Trick
Since first blowing out of Rockford, Illinois, Cheap Trick has never stopped adding to its achievements. They can point to four platinum albums ("Cheap Trick at Budokan" reached triple platinum) and three gold LPs, a number-one single ("The Flame"), seven other Top 40 hits and a video compilation entitled "Every Trick in the Book." In 1999, Cheap Trick celebrated their 25th anniversary in style. Holding court for 15,000 rabid Cheap Trick fans at Rockford's Davis Park, the three-hour bash found the band performing a song from every Cheap Trick album! A number of special guests were on-tap to join in the fun – Billy Corgan, Slash, Art Alexakis and many others. The resulting two-CD set, titled "Silver," was released to overwhelming critical praise on February 27, 2001. The band also recorded a studio album in 2003, Special One. It was followed in 2006 by Rockford. More recently, in 2016, the guys released Bang, Zoom, Crazy...Hello. Cheap Trick continues to rock out around the world. Legendary band!
