Luis Miguel

Luis Miguel is undoubtedly one of the most important Latin artists in the world. His career spans over two decades and boasts over 40 million record sales, including seven Grammy awards, nine Billboard awards and three World Music awards. With his debut in the Ranchero genre, he was awarded the 2005 Latin Grammy for Best Ranchero Album. In 2006, he was nominated for three Premio Lo Nuestro Awards, including Regional Mexican Male Artist of the Year, Ranchero Artist of the Year and Video of the Year for his song, “Que Seas Feliz.” Mexico en la Piel, was released in November of 2004 and stayed at number one on soundscan for five consecutive weeks and turned platinum. His tour, Mexico en la Piel, broke his own record with 30 sold-out consecutive performances at the Auditorio Nacional in Mexico City. This tour became one of the top grossing tours of all time and garnered him the 2006 Latin Billboard Award for Best Tour of the Year. Later releases include Complices (2008), an overdue collaboration with Manuel Alejandro, and a self-titled album (2010) that marked his 40th birthday. Luis Miguel continues to tour the globe.
