Recycled Percussion create their unique style of music with just about anything they can get their hands on — everyday household objects like ladders, buckets, trash cans and even metal grinders! Please take two minutes out of your busy day and check out their new HIGH ENERGY promo video below. You don’t just watch the show — you are in the show! When audience members attend a Recycled Percussion show they are given a drumstick and a unique instrument on the way in. The audience members use this throughout the show to play along with the band. This high-energy group brought every ounce of rock and roll to the “America’s Got Talent” stage and now want to prove to the world that it doesn’t matter where you come from, it’s more important where you are going.

 

Career Path

1995Formed in New Hampshire for a high school talent show by Justin Spencer, building their signature sound from ladders, buckets, trash cans, and power tools rather than conventional drums.
2009Finished third on NBC's 'America's Got Talent,' turning their junk-rock spectacle into a national phenomenon and launching Las Vegas booking conversations overnight.
2010Secured a headline residency on the Las Vegas Strip, playing first at the MGM, then the Tropicana and The Quad, before settling at the Saxe Theater at Planet Hollywood Resort and Casino.
2017Launched the TV series 'Chaos & Kindness,' extending the band's community-giving philosophy, coats, food drives, local outreach, into a nationally distributed format.
2020Broke the Guinness World Record for the longest drum roll, performed in front of their Chaos & Kindness store along Union Avenue in Laconia, New Hampshire.
2021Opened The CAKE Theatre (Chaos & Kindness Experience) in a converted historic church in Laconia, NH, making Recycled Percussion the only band in the world that owns and operates its own dedicated venue.
2022Resumed national touring alongside the ongoing Las Vegas residency, with audience-participation shows where every attendee receives a drumstick and instrument at the door.
2024Continued selling out the Saxe Theater at Planet Hollywood while expanding The CAKE Theatre's schedule in Laconia, anchoring the band's dual identity as both a Strip headliner and a New England community institution.
2026Maintained the Las Vegas residency at Planet Hollywood Resort and Casino alongside select national touring, sustaining more than 15 years of continuous live performance since the AGT breakthrough.
