BIOGRAPHy

You may know Ryan Niemiller as the disarmingly handsome comedian and 3rd place finalist from America’s Got Talent Season 14. Despite being born with a disability in both arms, Ryan, the self-proclaimed “Cripple Threat of Comedy”, shares his views of the world from the perspective of the handicapped (and very handsome). Ryan began his comedy career in Los Angeles, CA and hasn’t looked back since. He’s a favorite performer in clubs and colleges across the country. His comedy covers topics such as dating, trying to find employment and attempting to find acceptance in a world not designed for him. With his quick wit, good looks, great timing, and a gimmick that only he can exploit, Ryan hopes to prove to the comedy world that he may be unarmed, but he is dangerous. And and handsome – in case you missed it the first three times.

Career Path

2010Launched his stand-up career in Los Angeles under the self-given bill 'The Cripple Threat of Comedy,' building a following in clubs and on the college circuit with material that turns his disability, ectrodactyly affecting both arms, into the sharpest premise in the room.
2019Reached the live finale of NBC's 'America's Got Talent' Season 14, finishing third in front of a national audience after earning standing ovations from judges Simon Cowell, Gabrielle Union, Julianne Hough, and Howie Mandel.
2020Returned to compete on 'America's Got Talent: The Champions 2,' reaching the semifinals and introducing his act to a new international audience.
2022Resumed full-scale touring of clubs and performing arts centers across the United States, headlining venues as the national post-AGT profile converted into a sustained road career.
2023Played the Icon Comedy Club and similar venues on a rolling national tour circuit, headlining full sets built on his core themes of dating, employment, and navigating a world not built for him.
2024Continued touring through the end of the year with dates from Phoenix to Brunswick, GA, sustaining a pace of club and mid-size theater bookings that make him one of the most consistently working comedians from the AGT alumni.
2025Headlined club and theater dates into the first quarter of the year, including a billed stop with Comedy CNY in New Hartford, NY, still trading on the 'Cripple Threat' persona with material honed over fifteen years on the road.
