BIOGRAPHy

Since becoming American Idol’s youngest male winner in 2011, as well as the show’s first country male winner, Scotty McCreery quickly emerged as country music’s most successful new artist. McCreery’s first studio album, Clear As Day, debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard Top 200. It held the No. 1 spot on the Billboard Top Country Albums chart for six weeks and earned platinum status in just thirteen weeks. Scotty won New Artist of the Year at both the 2011 American Country Awards and the 2012 Academy of Country Music Awards. He also won the USA Weekend Breakthrough Video of the Year for “The Trouble With Girls” at the 2012 CMT Music Awards. He dropped the album See You Tonight in 2013. In 2017, he released the single “Five More Minutes.” As his career heats up, Scotty McCreery continues to tour the country.

2021Released fifth studio album 'Same Truck,' anchored by lead single 'You Time,' which reached No. 1 on the Billboard Country Airplay chart; earned a BMI Award for 'You Time' as one of the Top 50 Country Songs of the Year.
2024Inducted into the Grand Ole Opry by Josh Turner, with Garth Brooks having delivered the invitation on stage the previous Christmas.
2024Released sixth studio album 'Rise and Fall,' featuring the No. 1 single 'Cab in a Solo,' his sixth career chart-topper; supported the record with the 'Fall of Summer' tour.
2024Won two CMT Music Awards, including Digital-First Performance of the Year for 'It Matters to Her' filmed for 'CMT Stages.'
2026Performed a special extended set at the Grand Ole Opry House marking the 15th anniversary of his debut, and released the retrospective collection '15' featuring nine hit songs and four new recordings.
