Career Path

1979Formed in Key West after cartoonist Mack Dryden left a note for disc jockey Jamie Alcroft reading, 'You must be one of the funniest men in Key West; I'm the other one.'
1981Landed their first appearance on 'The Tonight Show with Johnny Carson' fewer than two years into performing together, earning an immediate callback from a howling audience.
1985Launched the syndicated series 'Comedy Break,' taping 125 half-hour shows in under a year with guests including Leslie Nielsen, Betty White, and Paul Reiser.
1988Returned to 'The Tonight Show' with Jay Leno, who called them 'the funniest duo working today' and placed them at the top of the list when comedians discuss comedy teams.
1995Daily Variety described them as 'devastatingly funny' and the Los Angeles Times compared their chemistry to 'the smoothest pairing since Hope and Crosby.'
2000Became anchor headliners on Royal Caribbean, Crystal, and Holland America cruise lines, building a devoted repeat-audience among the world's most discerning corporate and travel markets.
