Nick Kroll is best known for creating and starring in the Comedy Central sketch series Kroll Show, the hit FX comedy The League, and for co-creating the Emmy-nominated Netflix animated series Big Mouth. A graduate of Georgetown University, Kroll began his entertainment career writing for shows like Chappelle’s Show. He established himself on television as the chauvinistic lawyer Rodney Ruxin in The League and later satirized modern social media and celebrity culture in Kroll Show. In 2017, Kroll expanded his stage work, co-starring in and co-writing the critically acclaimed Broadway production Oh, Hello alongside John Mulaney. Kroll achieved major mainstream recognition as the co-creator, executive producer, and lead voice actor of Netflix’s Big Mouth, an animated coming-of-age comedy based directly on his own childhood experiences in Westchester County. He voices multiple characters on the show, including the protagonist Nick Birch and various hormone monsters like Maury. The series was a massive success, running for several seasons and spawning the spin-off Human Resources. In addition to his prolific television career, Kroll is a recognizable film and voice actor. His live-action credits include prominent roles in films like I Love You, Man, Adult Beginners, and Don’t Worry Darling. He has also lent his voice to several major animated franchises, including playing Uncle Fester in The Addams Family and roles in Sausage Party and Sing.
