Eric Lyden’s sarcastic and self deprecating style of comedy celebrates the life and struggles of the working class hero. After dropping out of community college and failing to get promoted at Sears, Eric pursued stand-up comedy… the only career that actually encouraged his philosophy that “Life is way too hard.” Making his lower middle class existence and lack of success the focal point of his comedy, Eric gives his audiences someone to laugh with and relate to. Eric made his national television debut on Comics Unleashed with Byron Allen and has appeared live on ‘Gotham Comedy Live’ in NYC as well as his own Dry Bar Special. Now living and performing in New York City, Eric works the circuit of well known New York City clubs including The Comic Strip and Gotham Comedy Club.
