BIOGRAPHy

Dan Crohn has been performing stand up comedy in and around Boston for years. A semi-finalist in the Boston Comedy Festival and the Laughing Skull Festival, his stories of family and friends have entertained audiences from all over New England. Dan was recently a guest on a live episode of the popular podcast WTF with Marc Maron. His former day job of teaching 4th graders has provided him with endless amounts of material. He has wanted to be a comedian since the age of eight when he stumbled upon his Father’s Henny Youngman records. Dan Crohn is a force to be reckoned with and is quickly becoming one of the funniest comics in Boston, and with good reason: he’s hilarious.

Career Path

2008Sparked his stand-up career at age eight by discovering his father's Henny Youngman records, then spent years on the New England club circuit mining teaching and family life for material.
2013Reached the semi-finals of both the Boston Comedy Festival and the Laughing Skull Festival in the same period, earning regional recognition as one of Boston's sharpest emerging voices.
2014Named one of the top 100 comics in Season 9 of NBC's 'Last Comic Standing,' placing him before a national television audience for the first time.
2016Appeared on 'Gotham Comedy Live' on AXS TV and 'Laughs' on Fox, reaching cable audiences with his classroom-and-family storytelling style.
2018Guest on a live episode of 'WTF with Marc Maron,' one of the most listened-to comedy podcasts in the country, gaining exposure well beyond the New England market.
2019Opened for Nick DiPaulo, Greg Geraldo, and Pauly Shore at venues including the Wilbur Theater in Boston, building a track record as a trusted feature and opening act for national headliners.
2022Became a regular headliner at Boston-area rooms including the Comedy Connection and Giggles Comedy Club at Prince Pizzeria, anchoring the local club circuit as a top-of-bill draw.
