Ethan Simmons-Patterson is a young stand up comedian from Waukegan, IL. His comedy stems from his hometown of Waukegan also the hometown of the Great Jack Benny. Growing up as a delinquent who was frequently in trouble, Ethan turned to humor to laugh his way out of sticky situations. Later he put his knack for the funny into an act that encompasses everyday life situations, social rules, race and gender he encountered growing up in the North Chicago suburb. From his single mother to his eccentric father, even his awkward cast of friends, Ethan includes a wide variety of characters in each of his routines. With a sense of the past and a fear of the future his comedy is an out of the box take on life as we live it. He performs stand-up comedy all over New York City including New York Comedy Club, Broadway Comedy Club and The Comedy Cellar. Ethan has also been a part of numerous comedy festivals including The Janelle James Festival, Floodwater Festival and New York Comedy Festival.
