Stand-Up Comedians
Owen Bowness
Owen Bowness began his comedy career in the summer of 2002 at the age of 20 at a biker bar in his native New Jersey. He has been entertaining audiences ever since. His ability to relate to audiences regarding his strange life experiences has made him a favorite at any venue he performs in. His comedy is edgy with a unique likeability, with subjects ranging from relationships (conventional or not), his own inability to function socially, racism, sex, substance abuse, and his own recovery from addiction. Owen delivers from a laid back stage presence and uses a razor sharp wit during crowd interaction. Owen has experienced a lot in less than 30 years on the planet and keeps audiences laughing in spite of it all. When not traveling Owen can be seen regularly at New York’s top comedy clubs including The Broadway Comedy Club and Comic Strip Live. He has also appeared on XM/Sirius’ Opie and Anthony Show.
