BIOGRAPHy

The group’s debut album, PCD, was released by A&M Records in the United States in September 2005. Their debut single, “Don’t Cha,” a collaboration with Busta Rhymes, reached number two on the Billboard Hot 100 Singles chart. The album also included the single “Stickwitu.” “PCD” peaked at number five on the Billboard 200 Albums chart and was certified two-times platinum by the RIAA. “Stickwitu” received a Grammy Award nomination at the 49th Annual Grammy Awards for Best Pop Performance by a Duo or Group with Vocals. In September 2008, the group released their second album, Doll Domination, which peaked at number four on the Billboard 200. The album spawned the Top 20 singles, “When I Grow Up,” “I Hate This Part,” and “Jai Ho! (You Are My Destiny),” an interpretation of the song “Jai Ho” from the film “Slumdog Millionaire.” With their catchy songs and great dance moves, The Dolls remain a hugely popular act.

Career Path

1995Robin Antin founded the Pussycat Dolls as a burlesque performance troupe in Los Angeles, building the brand through residencies at top-tier Hollywood venues before expanding into recording.
2005Debut album 'PCD' arrived on A&M Records; lead single 'Don't Cha,' a collaboration with Busta Rhymes, peaked at number two on the Billboard Hot 100, while the album reached number five on the Billboard 200 and earned 2x platinum RIAA certification.
2005'Stickwitu' earned a Grammy Award nomination for Best Pop Performance by a Duo or Group with Vocals at the 49th Annual Grammy Awards, cementing the group's ballad credibility alongside their dance-pop identity.

2019Reunited for a widely watched performance on 'The X Factor UK,' signaling a potential full comeback before legal disputes between Robin Antin and Nicole Scherzinger halted reunion plans.
2020Released the comeback single 'React,' the group's first new recording since their original run, before a planned reunion tour was cancelled due to the pandemic and ongoing litigation.
2025Robin Antin and Nicole Scherzinger settled their multi-year legal dispute confidentially, clearing the path for a full group reunion and new recording activity.
2026Nicole Scherzinger, Kimberly Wyatt, and Ashley Roberts reunited as The Pussycat Dolls, dropped the new single 'Club Song,' and launched the 53-date global 'PCD Forever' tour to celebrate the 20th anniversary of the debut album, with 'PCD' and 'Doll Domination' reissued on vinyl and streaming.
