BIOGRAPHy

Welsh superstar Tom Jones is one of the most popular vocalists to emerge from the British Invasion. Since the mid-1960s, Jones has sung nearly every form of popular music – pop, rock, R&B, show tunes, country, dance, soul and gospel – and sold over 100 million records. Jones has had thirty-six Top 40 hits in the United Kingdom and nineteen in the United States; some of his notable songs include “It’s Not Unusual”, “What’s New Pussycat”, “Delilah”, “Green, Green Grass of Home”, “She’s a Lady”, “Kiss” and “Sex Bomb”. Having been awarded an OBE in 1999, Jones received a knighthood from Queen Elizabeth II for “services to music” in 2006. Jones has received numerous other awards throughout his career, including the Grammy Award for Best New Artist in 1966, an MTV Video Music Award in 1989 and two Brit Awards – winning Best British Male, in 2000, and Outstanding Contribution to Music, in 2003. Tom continues to tour to the delight of fans worldwide.

1965Rocketed to international fame with debut hit 'It's Not Unusual,' followed by 'What's New Pussycat,' launching the Welsh vocalist as one of the defining voices of the British Invasion.
1966Won the Grammy Award for Best New Artist, beating out Sonny and Cher, The Byrds, and Herman's Hermits, and confirming his arrival as a major transatlantic star.
1969Signature anthem 'Delilah' became one of the most internationally recognizable songs in his catalog, joining 'Green, Green Grass of Home' and 'She's a Lady' as radio standards across more than 36 UK Top 40 hits.
1999Released 'Reload,' a critically praised album of duets that introduced Jones to a new generation via the chart-topping 'Sex Bomb' with Mousse T and earned him the first of two Brit Awards, Best British Male in 2000.
2003Honored with the Brit Award for Outstanding Contribution to Music, recognizing nearly four decades of performing across pop, R&B, soul, country, and gospel.
2006Knighted by Queen Elizabeth II for services to music, becoming Sir Tom Jones after a career spanning more than 100 million records sold.
2012Joined 'The Voice UK' as an original coach, bringing his decades of vocal expertise to the BBC talent competition where he remained a fixture for over a decade.
2021Released 'Surrounded by Time,' co-produced by Ethan Johns, which debuted at No. 1 on the UK Albums Chart and made Jones the oldest artist to achieve a UK chart-topping album.
2025Performed the sold-out Defy Explanation Tour across the UK and US, headlining venues from Foxwoods to the Segerstrom Center for the Arts with a 21-song set drawing from six decades of hits.
2026Announced the Come Gather Round North American Tour, with dates from Highland Park through New York, Nashville, Los Angeles, and San Francisco, alongside a Las Vegas residency.
