Blue Man Group is best known for their wildly popular theatrical shows and concerts which combine music, comedy and multimedia theatrics to produce a totally unique form of entertainment. The blissful party atmosphere created at their live events has become the trademark of a Blue Man Group experience, whether at one of their international theatrical productions, satirical rock concert currently touring the U.S. and South America, or at your next corporate event. The company applies its unique creative process to a wide variety of projects, including the recording of three alums: The Grammy-nominated Audio, The Complex (which became the musical basis for The Complex Rock Tour and the more recent How To Be A Megastar Tour 2.0, currently touring the globe), and Live At The Venetian® – Las Vegas, which is available exclusively on iTunes. Blue Man Group has also ventured into toy development (with their Keyboard Experience and Percussion Tubes, produced by ToyQuest), film and TV scoring, commercial campaigns, television programs (like Scrubs and Arrested Development), and a children’s museum exhibit, Making Waves, which is currently touring the U.S.A. As the company grows, it remains true to its vision of providing exciting experiences in a variety of media, which appeal to a broad range of age groups and cultural backgrounds. Career Path

1991Founders Matt Goldman, Phil Stanton, and Chris Wink debuted 'Tubes' off-Broadway in New York City, establishing a new form of entertainment that fused music, comedy, and multimedia theatrics.
1999Released the debut album 'Audio,' which earned a Grammy nomination for Best Pop Instrumental Album and introduced their sound to a global audience.
2003Released 'The Complex' featuring Dave Matthews and Gavin Rossdale, then headlined 'The Complex Rock Tour', their first national headline tour, deconstructing the rock concert experience with Tracy Bonham as supporting vocalist.
2006Launched 'The How to Be a Megastar Tour 2.0,' expanding on Complex Rock Tour material and taking the satirical rock show across the globe.
2006Released 'Live at the Venetian, Las Vegas,' exclusively on iTunes, capturing their permanent Las Vegas residency show.
2007Scored music and appearances for network television productions including 'Scrubs' and 'Arrested Development,' and expanded toy development with Keyboard Experience and Percussion Tubes via ToyQuest.
2012Operated resident productions in multiple U.S. cities simultaneously, with the Astor Place Theatre in New York serving as the flagship venue alongside Las Vegas and other markets.
2025Closed the legendary Astor Place Theatre run in New York after more than 30 years and 17,000 performances, marking the end of one of off-Broadway's longest-running shows.
2026Opened a custom-built 578-seat theater at ICON Park in Orlando, the first venue ever designed from the ground up for Blue Man Group, featuring state-of-the-art audio, lighting, and video technology.
